Software Deployment - Advertisement Schedules

Within the Schedule tab of the Advertisement Properties dialog box, there is an Advertisement start time box followed by a GMT check box. The GMT box is pretty important, in my opinion.

If you want all your sites to fire the advertisement at the same time "locally," then you need to check this box.

For instance, say you have three sites in three different time zones. Say you create all advertisements in Site 1 and then Sites 2 and 3 fire of that main advertisement. If you set Site 1 to fire off at 10 pm and check the GMT box, the advertisement will fire at 10 pm in Sites 2 and 3 based on their only local time.

Leaving this box unchecked will make all advertisement fire off at the same time based on the time zone of Site 1.
